Although I have been slacking on the blogging, I have not been slacking in creating new words...to which I would like to introduce to you, '
lurvous' and '
motorvated.' Yeah I totally came up with these on my own and they are really taking over the Denver scene...well at least with my entourage out here :).
Lesson 1:
Lurvous'
Lurvous' stemmed from my use of the word '
lurve' that stemmed from my deeper meaning of the actual word 'love.' Like you know how I 'love' Subway...well I really '
lurve' Jersey Mike's... and how I 'love' beer, but I really '
lurve'
Smithwick's...and how I 'love' watching mindless TV, but '
lurve' watching
UNC basketball...I mean I could go on here for days...so you get my drift right? Basically, '
lurve' is like way more than love.
Well '
lurvous' is a cross between something you '
lurve' and something that makes you nervous. And I shall not discuss here to what it is that I am '
lurvous' about, but it is certainly a feeling that could not be described with any existing word, which prompted me to create a new one.
Now, just so I know that you know what I am talking about, I would like for you to leave me a sample sentence in the comment section using the word '
lurvous' in appropriate context. You will be graded on your use and creativity :).
Lesson 2:
MotorvatedI must give credit to Olivia for reintroducing the word 'motor' back into my life as if you are going to 'motor' on out of somewhere as in to move on. I like to say "Let's motor" when we are done eating at a restaurant or in most occasions when a bar becomes really lame.
Well I thought it appropriate that one should combine said word 'motor' with 'motivated' as if becoming 'motivated' to 'motor' on to something new...thus creating '
motorvated'. I have found that it can really be hard to '
motorvate' some people because they just
aren't ready to move on to something new. I on the other hand have no problem '
motorvating' as a scenery change does my body good...or really any change for that matter. I like to think I am ready to '
motorvate' on to a new career or something...hell even just a regular job...really anything to give me something to do.
Now that completes
Felanie Melanie's vocabulary lesson today and like '
lurvous' I encourage you to use '
motorvated' in a sentence as well...and if you have any words that are a special part of your life, feel free to pass them along to me. I can totally get my Denver entourage to pick up on it too.
P.S. You should have seen the spell check on this little number...hahaha.
